Leap & Hop Paris

Leap & Hop Paris offers a new way of traveling as a family.  The children are engaged with games and activities as they share the adults' discovery of the French and Parisian culture. The book is divided into two parts. The first half contains an introduction to Paris and France in general - its history, geography, architecture, currency, and food, among others.  The second half focuses on some of Paris’ most iconic sites and neighbourhoods such as the Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame de Paris, the Luxembourg Gardens, the Petit Palais, the Grand Palais and the Sacré-Cœur.
Children will play I-Spy in the Grand Palais, go on a scavenger hunt in one of Paris' famous department stores, take a quiz walk in Montmartre, sample typical French food, among other fun activities.
Leap & Hop provides an ideal way for parents to stick to a grown-up itinerary with a focus on cultural sites while sharing an unforgettable experience with their children.

Fantastic guides!

We bought the Paris guides for our three sons (11, 8, & 5), and all of them loved the books. The books were very helpful first in helping the kids get their physical bearings in the city, but more importantly in providing a huge amount of insight into French and Parisian history and culture in clear and engaging way. (There's a fair bit of information in them that my husband and I didn't know!) I loved that we could bring them with us to the sights, and after the kids had activities to keep them occupied during downtime, like at meals or breaks for coffee. The guides are well-constructed to withstand the rigors of travel with kids, and the contents are fun and yet sophisticated. We can't recommend these guides highly enough and look forward to experiencing other cities and sights through the Leap & Hop guides.

Great travel activities book

We took this book to our last trip to Paris and my 2 daughters aged 5 and 8 years old started doing some of the fun activities on the plane on the way there and they were much more curious than usual about the city. They keep interacting with their books during the holidays as the activities are always diverse and playful.
They now keep the book as a souvenir from Paris. Great travel activities book.

Paris Leap and Hop

Went with my girls age 8 and 10 to Paris, each had her own book. They loved it. Filled in the pages. We used some of the tips and advises for visiting, and also from the web site. As the book requires involvement and interaction, my daughters actually remembered where they have been, they remember names and attractions, which is not so obvious when touring with kids in a city. My younger one came home and wrote her won personal journal of her visit in the city, to show how much she enjoyed Paris.
I love these books!
