Leap & Hop India, Rajasthan

Leap & Hop India, Rajasthan offers a new way of traveling as a family.  The children are engaged with games and activities as they share the adults' discovery of the Indian and Rajasthani cultures.

The book is divided into two parts. The first half contains an introduction to India, and more specifically, Agra and Rajasthan - its history, geography, religion, currency, and food. Each of these sections features a variety of interesting information and related interactive exercises such as games and quizzes. The second half directs your attention to Agra’s and Rajasthan’s world-famous heritage sites : Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Jaisalmer, Bikaner, and the newly discovered, out-of-the-way Shekhawati.  Come and learn more about the region’s iconic landmarks in fun and educational challenges that vary from site to site, such as scavenger hunts, “I Spy” games, puzzles, “Finding the Pairs”, “Spot the Differences”, and word searches.

Children will go on a Scavenger Hunt in Udaipur, sample different types of Indian breads, hear stories about life at the Mughal court, identify the semi-precious stones used to decorate the Taj Mahal among other fun activities.
Leap & Hop provides an ideal way for parents to stick to a grown-up itinerary with a focus on cultural sites while sharing an unforgettable experience with their children.

Ayelet
just loved it!

We took our 18 and 13 year old daughters, and our 10 year old son on a 3 weeks trip to India, part of which was in the Rajastan area. these books changed their entire way of looking at things and made the trip much more memorable for them and fun for us parents. It urged our children to ask questions and learn more about things they saw while walking the streets and site seeing. Usually children get bored very quickly even if you are at the most magnificent temple of all. With these fun activities at hand they just wanted to go on and on. Instead of finding the busy dirty streets overwhelming, they were constantly searching for things that the book pointed out for them, asking for prices of things and spotting odd happenings. Even our 18 year old peaked into the books every now and then and was more than happy to "help" her young siblings to fill it up.
